The maintenance and repair of the VRV air conditioning systems carried out at Atlas Çorap's production facility includes a comprehensive technical inspection of the outdoor-unit group feeding numerous indoor units. The reliable operation of this system — made up of multiple branch connections, refnet distribution fittings and long refrigerant pipe lines — ensures that the production areas are kept within the defined thermal-comfort parameters throughout the year.

The comprehensive overhaul of the steam boilers — critical for the industrial sock-drying machines at Atlas Çorap — constitutes the most technical dimension of this project. In steam boilers, scale (limescale) build-up, corrosion and pipe-gasket integrity problems threaten both energy efficiency and production safety. For this reason, chemical internal cleaning, pressure testing, safety-valve checks and burner calibration were carried out in full.

Carrying out steam-boiler maintenance periodically and in expert hands directly affects both energy savings and the fulfilment of the mandatory technical safety requirements under Turkey's Pressure Vessels Regulation.

As a result of the overhaul work, the thermal efficiency of the production machines increased measurably and the recurring fault-related stoppages were eliminated. All interventions were recorded in a technical report and handed over in writing to the authorized engineering personnel.
